Since I've been posting several pictures of my boys, I'm going to try and keep random pictures of them to this thread.

Feb 20, 2009, 12:39pm (top)Message 2: kirbyowns

Random picture from this morning. You can't see it, but they're watching the weather on the T.V.

Feb 23, 2009, 12:10pm (top)Message 3: kirbyowns

Picture from yesterday:

Feb 23, 2009, 3:47pm (top)Message 4: FAMeulstee

nice photo of the boys looking outside, what was grabbing their attention?

Feb 23, 2009, 4:29pm (top)Message 5: kirbyowns

This picture is of them realizing that I'm there taking their picture. They are looking at my feet.

Feb 23, 2009, 5:17pm (top)Message 6: cal8769

You must have nice feet or was it your bunny slippers? ;)

Feb 24, 2009, 9:06am (top)Message 7: kirbyowns

*giggle*
Kirby has always watched our feet to figure out what we're doing. He knows certain shoes are for work, certain shoes are for walks, certain shoes are for around the house, and others are for us leaving him (other than work).

Feb 24, 2009, 11:15am (top)Message 8: cal8769

It is amazing what animals pick up on and learn.

Today's random picture:

Finnegan waking Kirby up.

Feb 28, 2009, 11:54am (top)Message 10: ChelseaBottomley

Kirby, your dogs are adorable! They make a great pair.

#9 I love this pic! Finnegan looks like he's ready to play but Kirby was taking a nap.

Feb 28, 2009, 2:01pm (top)Message 11: kirbyowns

That's exactly what it was!

Here's Finnegan's new stash of leashes:

He's gone through 2 so far. I found these at target in the $1 bin, so I grabbed as many as I could.

Today's dog picture is Finnegan discovering sticks:

Zoomies!

#14 - that is Murphy's favorite treat as well :)

Mar 27, 2009, 1:19pm (top)Message 17: kirbyowns

He cracks me up. He'll come running from the other side of the house if he hears someone getting ice.

Mar 27, 2009, 2:37pm (top)Message 18: Mandy2

Pepper does that, too!

Mar 27, 2009, 3:05pm (top)Message 19: kirbyowns

Kirby does the same thing, except for the microwave. Especially if he hears popcorn popping.

Apr 1, 2009, 12:54pm (top)Message 20: kirbyowns

"Okay, you distract them and I'll open the gate."

These 2 know how to open the gate, and could probably jump over it if they wanted to. For some reason, they only open it when we get home from being gone.

Apr 13, 2009, 11:43am (top)Message 21: kirbyowns

Apr 13, 2009, 2:20pm (top)Message 22: cal8769

That is great! I love the picture. obviously they are looking at each other and thinking in unison, "I can't believe what they did to you!"

Apr 13, 2009, 2:50pm (top)Message 23: Mandy2

teehee, I should have done that to Pepper since one of my nick names for her is bunny or bun bun

Apr 14, 2009, 9:12am (top)Message 24: kirbyowns

I just can't believe I snapped the picture in time.

Apr 15, 2009, 8:54am (top)Message 25: kirbyowns

Apr 15, 2009, 11:29am (top)Message 26: cal8769

I LOVE that picture! It made me laugh!

Apr 17, 2009, 2:54pm (top)Message 27: kirbyowns

They didn't bug him at all. I don't know how he managed to get them turned that way, but he wasn't bothered by them. He was too busy watching Kirby.

Maijs 5, 2009, 10:32pm (top)Message 28: BONS

Your two are quite the pair! Can they stand to be seperated? I keep going back to #21 & reading #22 and just cracking up. I am a Commercial Credit Mgr., the boys have been my stress relief.

Maijs 29, 2009, 2:09pm (top)Message 29: kirbyowns

*Gasp*
I haven't posted a pic since Easter!

Well, to make up for that:

There. That should do you some good until I can upload some more.

New Arkansas Shirts:

Finn's is a little big, but the next size down would be too small in a month.

Jūn 3, 2009, 5:59pm (top)Message 31: BONS

I have been away with work and then camping...so glad to be back to see all "our dogs"!

Jūn 10, 2009, 10:20pm (top)Message 32: kirbyowns

Today I tried to capture eyelashes:

I've always commented that Finnegan has the best eyelashes, and never really noticed that Kirby had some too. Duh! Dogs have eyelashes too. My 2 dogs happen to have eyebrows that hid their eyelashes most of the time.

Jūn 11, 2009, 11:39am (top)Message 33: BONS

= ) They are so use to the camera!

Me, too! LOL

Sep 22, 2009, 9:38pm (top)Message 37: lefty33

Wow, he let you put the eye patch on! Too cute!

Okt 16, 2009, 9:56am (top)Message 39: lefty33

I LOVE that picture of Finn. Is he off leash in the second picture? Good puppy to stay nearby! I don't trust Miles yet but I hope I can someday. Oh, how warm and sunny it looks! We've had clouds and wet for too long!!

Okt 16, 2009, 1:00pm (top)Message 40: kirbyjack

I don't trust either one of them off the leash. Finn is on a 20 ft lead. It's straight (unlike Kirby's) so you can't really see it. Usually we're on the 40 ft. lead for playing outside.

Okt 16, 2009, 1:08pm (top)Message 41: lefty33

Wow, I can't see it at all! I have a 30-ft lead I use for Miles when we're somewhere with lots of room. I love it -- one of the best things I ever bought. I don't like retractable leashes and thought that was the only option for long leashes. Thankfully I found the one I did before I gave in and bought a retractable. I suppose a horse lunge line would work just as well, come to think of it.

Okt 16, 2009, 2:12pm (top)Message 42: kirbyowns

Both of their leads are all weather types. It's metal with hard plastic covering it. They are made to go on the end of the steaks (the little silver things you see in the pictures). Keeps my hands free to throw and play too.

You have to be careful though. I got caught in one several months ago and got hurt. The lead had wrapped around my leg and Finnegan had pulled. My muscles were bruised which made me limp for about a month. It also burned a spot when it rubbed. I have about a 4 inch scar from it. It was not Finn's fault at all. It was my fault for not paying attention and getting out of the way. Regular leashes will do the same thing if you get caught in them.

Okt 16, 2009, 3:47pm (top)Message 43: lefty33

I've gotten wrapped in the long one before too when Miles was running. It left a rope burn but definitely wasn't as bad as yours. I've been a lot more careful about staying clear since then!

Okt 19, 2009, 4:18pm (top)Message 44: BONS

#38-Look at Kirby & Finn! Finn looks like "This day was created just for me"!

You have probably stated this & please overlook but what is the age difference between these 2 handsome boys?

Okt 20, 2009, 8:55am (top)Message 45: kirbyowns

*he, he*
Kirby is 10 years old, and Finn is 1 year old.

You have the best costumes! He's adorable!!

Nov 1, 2009, 10:28pm (top)Message 48: BONS

Cute costume for Finn! He is a sweet adorable boy ate up with personality!!!

Nov 7, 2009, 7:51am (top)Message 49: cal8769

How Sweet!

Nov 8, 2009, 3:24pm (top)Message 50: kirbyowns

We were supposed to be clearing out Spring/Summer clothes in the closet and replacing them with Winter clothes. Finn and I got distracted a little bit. He was a really good boy and the glasses didn't phase him a bit.

(this one's the best)

(needed to shake and the glasses flew off)

OH GOODNESS! I love this boy! In these pics he looks like he could be related to Harry Potter!

Finn is such a ham, he's so much like Ben. "Anything for you Mom"!

What a joy he is!

Nov 9, 2009, 11:52am (top)Message 52: lefty33

Those are GREAT pictures, Kirby! The one you said was the best is my favorite too. What a perfect expression on his face.

Nov 13, 2009, 6:03am (top)Message 53: ljreader

In #9 I picture Finn saying "Get up already lazy bones, time to play" So cute and the ones with the glasses? Oh my, they should be entered into a contest. By far some of the cutest doggies pictures I've seen. Makes me want to take out the 'ol camera and take some shots of Toto. I have a picture of him with his "doggles" on (doggie goggles) which he happily wears when we are going to the dog park. Thanks for sharing

I love those pictures. He is a such a ham!

Nov 17, 2009, 1:58pm (top)Message 55: kirbyowns

Thanks guys! lj-Finn has some ice blue doggles that he'll wear, as long as his face doesn't get wet (say in the sprinklers). Then water gets in between them and it annoys him. That's the only time he tries to take them off. Let me see if I can find a pic....

Here it is:

Nov 20, 2009, 1:57am (top)Message 56: ljreader

OMG how cute, with the matching collar and everything!!!. Quick story about these doggles. Like I mentioned I make Toto wear them, for the short trip to the dog park (to protect his eyes from debris), because that's the only time I let him stick his head out the car window. I strap him in and he stands on my left thigh and leans out the window usually resting his head on the side view mirror (don't cringe in horror everyone, it's a very short ride, and very slow going LOL) and every now and then someone points and laughs and sometimes even snaps a picture at a stop sign or the red light. I have a FaceBook friend who saw the page of a friend of a friend of a friend, who posted a picture of my Toto with the caption "The cutest thing we've ever seen driving down the street today" and there he was, with the profile of my face in the background. It was a cute picture I'll have to admit.

You guys will enjoy this flickr set. It's me trying to get 1 picture for a Christmas card. I deleted the fuzzy pictures of course, and ended up using 6 of these for a collage card.

I just love those boys! I would think it would be near on impossible to get them both to be still - and looking at the camera - at the same time!!
